It’s back-to-school time for children in Los Angeles and throughout the country, and here, Dr. Buddiga weighs in on whether parents should be worried about sending their kids back to school with the uncertainty of the Delta variant and shares tips on how to keep them safe during the coming school year.

While he expects to see FDA approval for the vaccine for children under twelve in coming weeks, Dr. Buddiga recommends that all children, whether vaccinated or not, practice these health and safety precautions at school this fall:

– Maintain social distancing
– Avoid touching the face
– Wear sterile mask
