This is a personal preference. Lip fillers can last up to a year; however, patients may choose to come in every 4-6 months to keep a consistent level of volume.
Patients may experience transient bruising or swelling where injections have been made, this can last up to several days. Ice and topical creams, such as Arnica, can be used to minimize the time and degree of swelling. Dr. Buddiga personally likes “ICE” after this procedure.
Allergic reactions or side effects from lip fillers are extremely rare. If you have any concerns, please discuss these with Dr. Buddiga prior to the treatment.
